St Vinnie's Tours


These guided tours give you a behind-the-scenes look at how SVdP supports our community through a unique mix of housing, homeless services, and sustainable social enterprises. Whether you're curious about our programs or considering how to get more involved, this is a great way to experience the impact up close.

Tour stops include:

Human Services & Shelter Programs – 2nd Friday

  • Dawn to Dawn â€“ Transitional shelter program for individuals
  • Eugene Service Station – Day services and basic needs for unhoused adults
  • Lindholm Service Center – Central hub for shelter access and support
  • Safe Sleep Sites (410 & 310 Garfield) – Organized indoor and outdoor shelter communities
  • First Place Family Center – Day-access support for families with children experiencing homelessness, including Lane County’s only licensed childcare center for unhoused children


Recycling & Social Enterprise Sites – 4th Friday

  • Book Warehouse – Sorting and distributing donated books for online resale
  • Mattress Recycling Center – Diverting thousands of mattresses from landfills each year
  • SVdP Car Lot & Appliance Recycling Center – Repairing, reselling, and responsibly recycling donated vehicles and appliances
  • Clothing Warehouse – Processing textiles for reuse and recycling


Tours begin and end at our Chad Drive administrative office (2890 Chad Drive, Eugene) and typically last 2 to 2.5 hours. Parking is available on-site.
